Hi, I’ve got a job interview tomorrow. Not that big a deal, Getting job interviews isn’t hard for me, and i’m sure I could do okay on my own, but It’s been a long time since i’ve had a full time job that wasn’t just super tedious work, and i’m getting desperate for a job and a source of income.

So I call on yahoo answers to help me out :D
I’m 18, and it’s working for Samsung at $ 23 an hour.
Most of my previous work has required I can work hard and has been dealing with tradesmen only, but this is more of a corporate sort of job and requires a little something else, which I know I have, I just need help projecting it.

This role, reporting into a Facilities manager will focus on challenging and improving our client’s internal services and processes, ensuring a comfortable working environment for all staff.
* Managing central services (security, office consumables, courier requirements etc)
* Office Supplies- Distribute newspapers, Order coffee, archive boxes and office equipments
* Ordering stationary/ kitchen supplies
* Office Maintenance – Organise milk crates to be picked up, Ensuring bin bay is free of rubbish and bins locked, tidy up utilities room, empty toner bags and contact reception to organise pick ups
* Ensuring training and meeting rooms are set up correctly and are cleaned
* Monitoring visitors parking twice daily
* Assisting with deliveries and pick ups to reception, Delivering all articles to staff during the day ensuring
We are on the look out for candidates with strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and a strong ability to communicate and develop interpersonal relationships.

That’s the job ad, I have a few questions.
What questions will I be asked?
How do I respond, how do I act?
I have a basic understanding but I really want to nail it.

1.Tell us about yourself.

Translate: What makes you special? Why should we hire you?
Tips: Prepare several selling points about yourself. Give a quick “elevator speech” that overviews your experience and achievements.

2.What are your greatest strengths?

Translate: How do you perceive your talents and abilities as a professional? Will you be an asset to our organization?
Tips: Sell yourself. If you don’t promote your strengths, nobody else will. Prepare six or seven responses. Be “confidently humble.”

3.What are your greatest weaknesses?

Translate: How honest are you being about yourself with us? How realistic are you?
Tips: Present your weakness as a positive. Don’t talk too long or emphasize your downfalls.

4.Why are you interested in working here?

Translate: How dedicated are you? Do you have a passion for this type of work?
Tips: Keep your answer simple and to the point. Stay away from such responses as, “Many of my friends have worked here.” This response isn’t very impressive.

5.Why should we hire you?

Translate: Can you convince us you’re “the one?” Can you sell your “product?”
Tips: Make a powerful statement about the value you’ll bring to their organization. Toot your own horn, but be wary of sounding arrogant.
